Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Boelens.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes, Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:45 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 24. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
