The coroner’s office has identified the man as Samuel Guarchaj Guarchaj.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Alcohol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:30 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

The decedent’s surname is distinctly Guatemalan.
