(L.A.) Armando Gonzalez, 19, Died on Train Tracks

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Latino male that occurred on train tracks.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Armando Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP ARMANDO GONZALEZ (June 10, 2004 – May 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:26 p.m.

The decedent was fatally hit by a Metrolink train in El Monte.

LACo Fire Department said the incident was called in at 10:20 p.m. It happened in the 12000 block of Garvey Avenue.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Armando Gonzalez” in public records.
