(L.A.) Beverly Wilkins, 59, Died From a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black female that occurred in Compton.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Beverly Wilkins.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

RIP BEVERLY WILKINS (October 27, 1964 – May 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:10 p.m.

The decedent was shot dead while she was inside a parked vehicle in the 700 block of South Holly Avenue.

She was sitting inside her boyfriend’s Hyundai SUV outside her mother’s home when someone pulled up and fired multiple shots into the car.
