RIP ARMANDO ANGEL MATTERS (February 23, 1984 – May 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:59 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental overdose.

The decedent’s body was found near the Foothill (210) Freeway.

Officers from the Irwindale Police Department were called at around 1:45 p.m. for a man down in the 2300 block of Central Avenue. They found the man lying on a dirt road adjacent to the Los Angeles County Flood Control Bradbury Channel underneath the freeway.

He appears to have had four California-born siblings.
