(L.A.) Thanh Cong Le, 42, Died From a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Asian male that occurred in a driveway in Monrovia.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Thanh Le.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches / Weight: 175 pounds

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

RIP THANH CONG LE (April 1, 1982 – May 17, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:51 p.m.

The decedent was fatally shot in Monrovia by a woman with a restraining order against him. He had tried to stab her and another man.

At the time when he was arrested by Arcadia PD in February 2021, he was bald.

Local government authorities had the decedent’s body cremated on July 1. His remains were not claimed.
