(L.A.) Janee Reed, 43, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black female that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Janee Reed.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysrhythmia

Cause of Death B: Cocaine Toxicity

RIP JANEE REED (May 11, 1981 – May 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:47 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
