Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the infant boy as Arcelo Gamez Carrazco and listed his race/ethnicity as Black + Latino.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Suffocation

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:25 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 3.
