(L.A.) David Carter, 47, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Carter.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Schizoaffective Disorder, Polysubstance Abuse and Hepatitis C

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:18 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
