(L.A.) Andres Ruiz, 47, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andres Ruiz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Alcohol Toxicity

RIP ANDRES RUIZ (February 18, 1977 – May 13, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:45 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.
