(L.A.) Amanda Gallegos, 24, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on a sidewalk in the Central-Alameda area.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Amanda Gallegos, who was homeless.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds to the Head

RIP AMANDA GALLEGOS (November 1, 1999 – May 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:40 p.m.

LAPD said the shooting occurred about 7:30 p.m. at Alameda Street and Washington Boulevard.
