(L.A.) Rakim Allen, 30, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rakim Allen.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Back/Chest

RIP RAKIM ALLEN (December 9, 1991 – September 12, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:59 p.m.

The decedent was the rapper known as PnB Rock. He was shot once in the chest and two times in the back by an assailant in a ski mask who demanded jewelry as the rapper and his girlfriend were eating lunch.

Incident location was the Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles on West Manchester Avenue in South L.A.
