(L.A.) Douglas Hewitt, 34, Died on a Metro Train

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a Metro train.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Douglas Hewitt.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:45 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
