(L.A.) Carlos Gallegos Ordonez, 22, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Carlos Gallegos Ordonez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:48 p.m.

The decedent was shot in Sun Valley, apparently by a random stranger high on meth.

LAPD said the victim had simply been driving along the 8600 block of Morehart Avenue at around 9:15 p.m.
