Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Asian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Nick Kim.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Consequence of Cocaine and Methamphetamine Use

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP NICK KIM (March 17, 1965 – September 12, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:53 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
