Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black male that occurred in a public bench.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ray Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP RAY BROWN (December 26, 1985 – January 27, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:35 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
