(L.A.) Brian Crandall, 38, Died in an Elevator

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in an elevator.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brian Crandall.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP BRIAN CRANDALL (May 24, 1985 – January 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:19 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
