(L.A.) Daniel Erny, 47, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Daniel Erny.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP DAN ERNY (September 15, 1976 – December 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:22 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The government investigator had initially provided the decedent’s name as simply Dan Erny before later changing it.

There is a California birth record for a Daniel C. Erny, who was born on September 15, 1976, in Orange County. His mother’s maiden name is Delduca.
