(L.A.) Eduardo Gonzalez, 34, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eduardo Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Congestive Heart Failure, Covid-19, Adenovirus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:03 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 6, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is a case of alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much in one go.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents, i.e., unintentional deaths, under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
