(L.A.) Sylvia Davis, 59, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sylvia Davis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Alcoholic Cirrhosis, Cigarette Use, Stomach Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension

RIP SYLVIA DAVIS (October 27, 1964 – January 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:10 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
