(L.A.) Jesus Rodriguez, 62, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jesus Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Cryptococcal Meninigitis and Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection

RIP JESUS RODRIGUEZ (October 23, 1961 – December 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 15.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose. Note that the man was infected with HIV.
