Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Andrew Duarte.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:45 p.m.
The decedent was hit by a vehicle after a dispute near Holt Avenue and Hershey Street on Friday, November 17. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
On November 30, Pomona PD arrested 35-year-old Anthony Fernando Montenegro for the crime of murder. He was additionally charged with hit-and-run resulting in injury.
As of 2025, Montenegro is incarcerated at North Kern State Prison.
