(L.A.) Robert Switsen, 58, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Robert Switsen.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine, Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ROBERT SWITSEN (May 28, 1965 – October 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:08 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
