(L.A.) Abel Cervantes, 45, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Abel Cervantes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

Other Significant Condition: Morbid Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:35 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
