(L.A.) Phillip Mendoza, 33, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Phillip Mendoza.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol Intoxication

RIP PHILLIP MENDOZA (July 30, 1990 – October 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:49 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 15, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive. This is considered an accidental overdose.
