Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jon McCammon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Congestive Heart Failure

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Methamphetamine Effects; Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease; Peripheral Vascular Disease with Leg Ulcers; Obesity

RIP JON MCCAMMON (March 25, 1981 – September 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:04 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 3, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
