Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Vandray Baker.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and Fluorofentanyl Toxicity

RIP VANDRAY BAKER (February 23, 1962 – October 9, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:41 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
