Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brandon Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death A: Acute Respiratory Failure

Cause of Death B: Adenovirus Pneumonitis

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Post Traumatic Paraplegia, Morbid Obesity

RIP BRANDON GONZALEZ (October 16, 2001 – September 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:58 p.m.

The government worker finally corrected the decedent’s surname from Gonzelez to Gonzalez on November 6.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 28.
