(L.A.) Cornell Chicquelo, 56, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Cornell Chicquelo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP CORNELL CHICQUELO (March 13, 1967 – September 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:21 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 6, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
