(L.A.) Kayla Riley, 33, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Kayla Riley.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, Morphine, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine

RIP KAYLA RILEY (March 11, 1990 – September 9, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:43 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
