(L.A.) Freddy Duran Jr., 56, Died in a Shed

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Latino male that occurred at his friend’s backyard shed.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Freddy Duran Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine, History of Chronic Alcohol Use

RIP FREDDY DURAN JR. (October 3, 1966 – August 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:31 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental overdose.
