(L.A.) Jesus Vargas, 27, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jesus Vargas.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds
RIP JESUS EDUARDO VARGAS (March 20, 1986 – July 1, 2013)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:00 p.m.
Shooting incident location: 2100 block of West Pico Boulevard in Pico-Union
Two men chased the decedent into a Jack in the Box restaurant about 7:20 p.m.
One suspect removed a handgun from his front waistband and pointed it at Vargas. A second suspect entered the fast food restaurant wearing a bandana over his face and shot at Vargas several times.
Both suspects then exited the restaurant and fled on their bicycles southbound on Hoover Street.
Vargas was transported to a local hospital where he died.
The first suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and is between 20 and 25 years of age. The second suspect is a male Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall and is between 20 and 25 years old.
