Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Black female.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Alia Lyles.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

RIP ALIA LYLES (May 21, 1979 – July 30, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:27 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
