(L.A.) Lorenzo Chox-Ajqui, 52, Died in a Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lorenzo Chox-Ajqui.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP LORENZO CHOX-AJQUI (August 5, 1970 – July 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:10 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The decedent’s surname is Central American / Guatemalan.
