(L.A.) Lori Aguilar, 53, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Lori Aguilar.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Abdomen

RIP LORI DOMINIQUE AGUILAR (May 4, 1970 – July 2, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:42 a.m.

The decedent was at a transient encampment by the corner of East 102nd Street and South San Pedro Street when a suspect walked up and fired multiple shots. The suspect has been arrested.

Aguilar appears to have been based in El Segundo, California, with roots in Taos, New Mexico.
