The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ishamael Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 11:50 a.m.

The government worker in charge of death notices spelled the decedent’s given name as Ishamael, not Ishmael or Ismael.
