(L.A.) Michael Shia, 38, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Asian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Shia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, and Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:31 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 11, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
