Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred on a bus.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jason Salgado.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP JASON SALGADO (July 14, 1992 – June 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:47 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
