Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black male that occurred in a prison/correctional facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Quinones Corniel.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:10 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 22, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
