Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Hispanic male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Abraham Vela.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

RIP ABRAHAM ALEXANDER VELA (September 28, 2000 – June 16, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:10 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
