(L.A.) Douglas Whitfield Died in an RV

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a White/Caucasian male that occurred in a recreational vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Douglas Whitfield.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Morphine, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP DOUGLAS WHITFIELD (October 5, 1965 – June 7, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:43 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 30, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
