Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a bus stop.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Austin Mason.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP AUSTIN MASON (April 24, 1997 – June 9, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
