(L.A.) James Houde, 58, Died in Assisted Living

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in an assisted living facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Houde.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:44 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 4, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
