(L.A.) Maria Viramontes, 54, Died in Pacoima

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her apartment residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Maria Viramontes, resident of Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima.

Cause of Death: Combined Effect of Multiple Medications

Other Significant Conditions: History of Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
