“I will take you all down with me. But I’m not going to lose.” — Donald Trump

In a soon-to-be-released book written by two former aides are anecdotes about what it was like to work on Donald J. Trump’s presidential campaign.

After the Access Hollywood tape was released, the Republicans Party’s national chairman Reince Priebus said that Trump would either “lose the biggest electoral landslide in American history” or should drop out of the race.

Donald J. Trump replied:

“First of all, I’m going to win. And second, if the Republican Party is going to run away from me, then I will take you all down with me. But I’m not going to lose.”

Trump went on to win in one of the major upsets ever in presidential electoral history.
