Chavez was pronounced dead after being found unconscious on a delivery route last Saturday.

The young man apparently collapsed in his seat inside the truck. The owner of the house he had just delivered a package to discovered the passed-out driver about 20 minutes after the delivery. When first responders arrived, it was already too late.

Chavez had just turned 24 years old the day before.

Chavez became an employee of UPS in August 2018. He had just recently returned to work after being on leave for a shoulder injury.

The official cause of his death is still under investigation. Temperatures in Southern California reached the upper 90s last weekend, prompting speculation the man was felled by a heat stroke.

There is no confirmation on whether Chavez had received an injection of synthentic mRNA.

MANDATE?

In October 2021, executives of UPS, Disney, and other companies met with White House officials to discuss Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement plan for private-sector workers, amid concerns it could worsen labor shortages and supply chain woes.

The government mandate was meant to be applied to businesses with 100 or more employees, and would have affected about 80 million workers nationwide.

Industry groups raised concerns such as labor shortages and how regulation by the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) could worsen existing supply-chain problems facing U.S. companies ahead of the holiday shopping season. Other topics, such as testing requirements and who will bear the cost, also were raised.

On November 5, 2021, a vaccination and testing emergency temporary standard (read: mandate) was issued by OSHA. This standard was withdrawn on January 25, 2022.

Unlike Procter & Gamble, 3M, American Airlines, JetBlue and IBM, UPS has not imposed a company-wide mandate. Employees in California, however, didn’t need to be mandated in order to be convinced to get injected.

According to L.A. County Public Health, about 8,177,973 residents of the county has had at least one dose. In the City of Downey, nearly 83 percent of residents above the age of five have supposedly received at least one injection of synthetic mRNA.

As of the latest data posted on June 30, 2022, the cities of Commerce, El Segundo and many others have reported a 95 percent or higher inoculation rate.
