Trump had been banned from the social media platform in January 2021 right before the end of his presidential term of office.
To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.

The above was his final tweet before being banned.
Trump has since announced a new run for the White House and has formally filed papers to be a candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
“The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”
The Latin phrase “Vox Populi, Vox Dei.” means “Voice of the People, Voice of God.”

It's unclear if @realDonaldTrump is coming back to use Twitter, even though his account has been restored.
Today at the Republican Jewish Coalition, he said, "I hear we're getting a big vote to also go back on Twitter. I don't see it, because I don't see any reason for it."
