Tim Ryan Drops Out of 2020 Presidential Race

On Thursday, Rep. Tim Ryan announced he will exit the 2020 presidential race.

“After seven long months of hard work, I will be returning home to my family and friends and community in Ohio to run for reelection for my congressional seat,” Ryan said.

Ryan entered the race in April. He has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 13th congressional district since 2003. The district, numbered as the 17th district from 2003 to 2013, takes in a large swath of northeast Ohio, from Youngstown to Akron.
