Tatyana Felgengauer Returns To Blog, Tweets, Posts IG Photo

Russian journalist Tatyana Felgengauer writes her first post since a harrowing attack on her a week ago. She was stabbed in the throat by a seemingly deranged man who entered the radio station she was working at in Moscow.

She also tweeted to her 90,000 followers this Instragram photo of her hand, showing stitches for one of her stab wounds.

In her blog post, she notes that October 30 is exactly a week since someone tried to kill her. She thanked their security guard Alexander, who was able to drag the man with a knife from her. She thanked the guard Igor, who hurried to help Alexander. She thanked the person who reacted quickly and did everything to get her to the ambulance as soon as possible. She also thanked, among many others, the entire medical team who saved her life, including the anesthesiologist and the surgeons.

She says that in order to survive, one has to fight, and she couldn’t have fought without her family, friends, colleagues, and supporters.

The title of her piece can be roughly translated as “The Story of How a Woman Survived a Maniac.”
