Senator Rand Paul Assaulted in Kentucky
Kentucky State Police have revealed that on Friday they responded to Sen. Rand Paul’s residence in Bowling Green at 3:21 p.m.
Troopers say that upon arrival, they found that a man had intentionally assaulted the senator causing minor injury.
The suspect was arrested and charged with one count of fourth-degree assault and taken to the Warren County Detention Center.
Public records show that the suspect is Rene Albert Bousher, a 59-year-old white male. He was booked on November 3 (Friday), at 8:51 pm. Bond was set at $5,000.
Unverified: Dr. Rene A. Boucher is a retired anesthesiologist.
The county seems to have misspelled his name at intake.
Birthday: 08/17/1958
Rene Boucher attended New Bedford High School in Massachusetts and graduated as part of the class of 1976.
About 12 years ago, he snagged a coveted spot on QVC to sell his patented invention called Thermavest / Therm-a-Vest (rice-filled vest for pain management) with the help of his wife Lisa.
Speculation is that this assault is a neighborhood dispute turned heated.
Rand Paul himself is a doctor who graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine.

I appreciate all of the support from everyone. A medical update: final report indicates six broken ribs & new X-ray shows a pleural effusion
